This book is a narrative written by the legendary author Maya Angelo. It is an account of a mother who tries her best to support her child alone. That is, until she decides to get married and bring a new man into her son's life. With it being the 1960's, it brings into detail of a mother who, while raising her son alone, tries to teach him the struggle of what it takes to have the life you want.The End Result:
